Based on the 1991 animated film of the same name, the original 1994 production of Beauty And The Beast played for more than 13 years on Broadway. It remains to this day one of the top 10 longest-running shows in Broadway history, and has toured 37 countries worldwide.

The new production will feature nostalgic songs including Belle, Gaston, Be Our Guest and the beloved title song, but it will be reimagined with new sets, costume designs and state-of-the-art technology.

Olivier Awards nominee Matt West directs and choreographs, leading a team that includes original composer Alan Menken, lyricist Tim Rice, book writer Linda Woolverton, scenic designer Stanley Meyer, costume designer Ann Hould-Ward and lighting designer Natasha Katz. The team collectively received five Tony nominations and a win for Hould-Ward’s costume design when Beauty And The Beast premiered on Broadway 31 years ago.

The new version of the show has enjoyed phenomenal success in Australia since 2023, with ticket sales surpassing one million across Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. The Australian production currently stars actress Shubshri Kandiah as Belle and actor Brendan Xavier as the Beast.
