SINGAPORE – Yisa Yu, who is known for her soulful voice, will hold her debut concert here on March 29, 2025, at The Star Theatre.

The Chinese singer last performed here on Oct 20, during the second day of One Love Asia Festival Singapore. Her 40-minute set at The Padang included the tender ballads Heartwarming (2010) and Walking By The World (2018).

Known as the Queen of OSTs, the 41-year-old has sung theme songs for many original soundtracks, including the eponymous track for Chinese drama Meet Yourself (2023).

She broke into the industry after placing fourth in the 2009 season of Hunan TV’s singing competition Super Girl.

Yu has released seven studio albums. The most recent, Dear Life (2022), got her nominated for Best Female Singer (Mandarin) at the Golden Melody Awards in 2023.

On Dec 6, she put out My Inner Me, a breezy dance number and prelude to her upcoming eighth album.

The Singapore show is part of her Romance World Tour, which kicked off in Shanghai in July 2023 and has made stops in other Chinese cities such as Beijing and Guangzhou.
