If you enjoy Thai horror movies, you have probably enjoyed the work of Banjong Pisanthanakun. The 41-year-old film-maker has written and directed several horror hits, including Shutter (2004), a segment in the compendium 4bia (2008) and the comedy-tinged Pee Mak (2013).
In an e-mail interview with The Straits Times, Banjong says his new spine-chiller, The Medium, stands apart from his previous films.
