K-drama stars Park Seo-joon, Choi Woo-shik and Jung Yu-mi are trading comfort for chaos in new reality series Unplanned Trip: Limited Edition, a travel show that throws the trio into a hilariously unpredictable adventure across South Korea.
It kicks off with the three actors believing they are participating in an ordinary live stream, only to discover they have been “kidnapped” and sent off on a six-day, five-night trip with almost nothing prepared. Armed with only the clothes on their backs and a handful of essentials, the celebrities are forced to figure things out as they go along.
The “limited edition” concept comes with strict rules: Each person gets a daily budget of just 100,000 won (S$85) to cover food, transport and accommodation, while the use of mobile phones is limited. To make matters worse, the trio must travel to a new city every day.
Long-time fans of K-reality hits like Youn’s Stay (2021) and Jinny’s Kitchen (2023 to 2024) can expect the same easy camaraderie between the cast members, especially with Choi lamenting his increasingly desperate lack-of-clean-underwear situation.

It has been four decades since American actor Tom Cruise took to the cockpit as hotshot pilot Pete “Maverick” Mitchell in Top Gun.
For its 40th anniversary, the 1986 action flick that propelled the Hollywood actor – and Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses – to global superstardom is returning to the big screen for a special one-week screening.
From May 14 to 20, Top Gun and its blockbuster sequel Top Gun: Maverick (2022) will be screened exclusively at Shaw Theatres Imax at Lido, Jem, Jewel and Paya Lebar Quarter.
Top Gun follows Maverick as he enters the Top Gun Naval Fighter Weapons School, where the best of the best train to refine their elite flying skills. Directed by the late English film-maker Tony Scott, the movie went on to receive four Oscar nominations, with American new wave band Berlin’s Take My Breath Away winning best original song.
The sequel features Maverick training a new generation of Top Gun pilots on how to successfully run a mission. Top Gun: Maverick grossed about US$1.5 billion (S$1.9 billion) worldwide, making it the highest-grossing movie of Cruise’s career. It earned six Oscar nominations, winning for best sound.
