The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has had more misses than hits of late. The most recent movie in the superhero franchise, The Marvels (2023), was considered a box-office bomb. It grossed US$206 million (S$277 million) worldwide – a stark drop from the US$1.13 billion achieved by its predecessor, Captain Marvel (2019).
But with Deadpool & Wolverine opening in Singapore cinemas on July 25, good times might be ahead.
