BTS singer Jimin was in a relationship with actress Song Da-eun, agency confirms

Dating rumours between Jimin and Song Da-eun resurfaced last week when the actress posted a video of him on TikTok.

The agency of K-pop boy band BTS has broken its silence on the dating rumours surrounding BTS member Jimin and South Korean actress Song Da-eun, confirming that they had dated before but have since broken up.
“We did not release a statement previously out of respect for Jimin’s privacy and the other party involved,” Bighit Music said in a statement on Aug 31. “However, due to the proliferation of speculative reports and false rumours surrounding their private lives, we find it unavoidable to release a statement on the bare minimum of the facts.”
The agency continued: “While they had mutual feelings for each other in the past and were in a relationship, that was several years ago and they are not currently dating.”
Dating rumours between Jimin, 29, and Song, 34, resurfaced last week when she posted a video of him on TikTok. The video shows the actress waiting for him in front of a lift, followed by a surprised Jimin smiling and talking to her.
The two have been the subject of such rumours since 2022.
Song first rose to prominence through reality dating programme Heart Signal 2 in 2018. She has appeared in K-dramas such as Once Again (2020) and More Than Friends (2020). Jimin completed his military service in June and is preparing for a comeback with BTS in 2026.
