In 2025, Deborah Png will launch Causal Media Resources, a venture focused on producing authentic Singaporean and South-east Asian multicultural stories for global audiences.

SINGAPORE – After earning her law degree from the National University of Singapore, Deborah Png simultaneously pursued careers as a lawyer and actress in Singapore during the 1990s.
Her artistic breakthrough came when she joined the original 1988 cast of Beauty World!, Singapore’s first local musical by theatre company TheatreWorks. She also toured internationally, including as a vocalist for veteran home-grown musician Dick Lee’s album Mad Chinaman (1989).
