SINGAPORE – K-pop star Jisoo is headed for Singapore. The 30-year-old member of popular South Korean girl group Blackpink will make an appearance at Orchard Central on March 7 at 5.30pm for the launch of a pop-up store in conjunction with her debut solo EP Amortage, which was released on Feb 14.

The pop-up, named Amortage at Far East Malls, will run from March 5 to April 6. Conceptualised to resemble a cinema, it features different rooms inspired by Jisoo’s music.

It will carry limited-edition merchandise, including four exclusive variations of the Amortage album ($23.90 to $29.90) and collectibles like plush keychains of Shumon ($19.90 to $24.90) – a hand-drawn character by Jisoo – in black and pink, which are colourways exclusive to Singapore. A Shumon cushion ($39.90) and Shumon phone grip ($19.90) will also be available.

From March 11, there will also be T-shirts ($49) and notebooks ($16) with Polaroid photo cards of Jisoo on sale.

During the pop-up, members of Far East Malls’ shoppers’ loyalty programme shopFarEast are also entitled to a Shumon pouch when they spend more than $150 in a day.

Jisoo last performed in Singapore during Blackpink’s Born Pink world tour at the National Stadium in May 2023. She also made an appearance at the 100th anniversary party of French jeweller Cartier’s Trinity collection in July 2024 at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre.

The singer-actress is starring in the South Korean zombie drama Newtopia, which is available on Prime Video.
