British actress Millie Bobby Brown has accused American actor David Harbour, her co-star in the Netflix science-fiction hit series Stranger Things (2016 to present), of alleged harassment and bullying.

This was disclosed by British newspaper The Mail On Sunday in an exclusive report, which was first published online on Nov 1.

Brown, 21, shot to fame playing a psychokinetic girl named Eleven in Stranger Things, while Harbour, 50, plays her adoptive father, town police chief Jim Hopper, on the show.

The first four episodes of the highly anticipated fifth and final season will be released on Nov 26, the next three episodes on Christmas Day and the finale on New Year’s Eve.

“Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season,” according to a source quoted by The Mail On Sunday. “There were pages and pages of accusations. The investigation went on for months.”

The British newspaper said the outcome of the investigation was not revealed, but said the allegations did not include claims of sexual misconduct.

A source from Netflix said: “Netflix will never comment on an internal investigation, but the fact they’ve not denied it speaks volume.”

The Mail On Sunday reported that Brown had a personal representative on set when she was filming the final season of Stranger Things.

The allegation came after Harbour’s estranged wife, 40-year-old British singer Lily Allen, released her fifth and latest album, West End Girl, on Oct 24.

It talks about the breakdown of a marriage, including claims of infidelity, which was partially based on her relationship with Harbour. The former couple split in December 2024 after four years of marriage.

Brown has been married to American model-actor Jake Bongiovi, 23, since May 2024. They announced on social media in August that they had adopted their first child, a baby girl, together.
