SINGAPORE – Thai actor Mario Maurer read the script of only two episodes of the hit Thai romance series Bad Romeo before he gamely agreed to play its man bun-sporting protagonist Kaokla.
The 33-year-old pairs up with Thai-Norwegian model-actress Urassaya Sperbund, 29, for a dramatic, high-stakes love story that transcends social class and weathers a seven-year separation.
