SINGAPORE - Inside the shadowy, male-dominated trade of funeral services - once considered the preserve of those with paltry education and few other career prospects - change has been brewing.
Increased media coverage, more opportunities and a loosening of superstitions around death have led to more women, especially younger ones, entering the funeral trade, industry insiders say.
