SINGAPORE – Mr Nakkeeran Balakrishnan admits he knew nothing about autism until his son, Eaashan, was diagnosed with it at 18 months.
Since then, the 55-year-old has attended seminars and workshops on the developmental disorder at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital – where his son was born – together with his wife, Ms Kulasingam Leezawari, 52.
