Fashion designer Esther Choy first read Wuthering Heights when she was under 12 years old, and has also studied it as part of her literature syllabus in junior college.

Who: Esther Choy, 31, fashion designer and founder of womenswear label, Esh by Esther. Showcasing the fluidity of gender in fashion through the use of layering and contrasting textures, Choy creates pieces that “marry masculinity and structure with the fluid female form”. Her work is on show at the final edition of #SGFashionNow at the Asian Civilisations Museum, which ends on Sept 1. The exhibition is co-curated with fashion students from Lasalle College of the Arts, which Choy graduated from in 2016.
