SINGAPORE - Beauty World Centre and Bukit Timah Shopping Centre are nostalgic relics. The arrival of an MRT station at their doorsteps six years ago has not wrought much change in these sleepy malls, cluttered with tuition centres and maid agencies.
Foodies will make a beeline for Beauty World's famed food centre and there is an eclectic melange of international cuisine on offer in the two buildings - from crab rolls to Nepali momos to Thai boat noodles.
