Wong May’s homecoming as her 1969 poetry book is reissued by Singapore publisher

SINGAPORE – More than half a century since the appearance of A Bad Girl’s Book Of Animals (1969) in the United States, Wong May’s first poetry collection – which has since gone out of print – will be reissued by local publisher Ethos Books in March.

“It will assuage my homesickness for Singapore,” writes the 78-year-old Dublin-based poet over e-mail with the publisher in June 2022.
