– Hotshot ah beng durian-seller with a neck tattoo that says EPIC in Geylang, who guffaws when she asks if the 24-hour fruit shop is a front for money laundering. He splits open a high-grade Mao Shan Wang and won’t take payment, tells her in Mandarin that her currency is her audacity.
