SINGAPORE - It takes four people, men included, to dress a geiko, or geisha in the Kansai dialect of Osaka, in her formal wear. Only men have the strength to really tighten the obi belt.

"It's like watching an empress get dressed," marvels Singaporean photographer Russel Wong.
