SINGAPORE –It is pointless at this point to react further to the shuttering of film and arts space The Projector. Everything that needs to be said has been said in the subsequent outpouring.
But amid talk of the insufficiency of niche cachet, I am reminded of my struggle to read outside the mainstream. I love The Projector, but for the longest time, I had trouble motivating myself to search for the obscure, the not critically acclaimed, the cult favourite.
