SINGAPORE – Come November, Singapore Writers Festival (SWF) attendees can look forward to two Booker Prize-nominated or winning fiction authors, a New York Times best-selling science writer, an Eisner Award-winning artist, a Pulitzer Prize-winning poet and a young adult fiction writer whose work is now available on a streaming platform.
Without naming the specific guest speakers, first-time festival director Yong Shu Hoong on July 24 gave a glimpse of the curatorial direction for his debut event. It is themed In Our Nature, inspired by his walks in Singapore’s green areas during the pandemic, and set to take place from Nov 8 to 17.
