SINGAPORE – Professor Peter Frankopan’s family has a Singapore connection. He happily shares the tidbit that his wife Jessica’s mother, Susie Sainsbury, was born in this country. 

“I love Singapore,” declares the academic, who last visited in 2019 to take part in the Singapore Bicentennial Conference, before the conversation turns to his latest labour of love, The Earth Transformed: An Untold History.
