SINGAPORE – The works of four Indonesian artists from three generations are strung together in an intriguing narrative in a new exhibition by the National Gallery Singapore.
Titled The Neglected Dimension, it tells of how Indonesian artists have forged a non-Western modernity through incorporating various forms of Arabic calligraphy in their abstract and performance works.
