SINGAPORE – There is a natural elegance and ease of expression when veteran dancer Low Mei Yoke moves between poses for the camera, an impish air about her, gestures pointed and ironic.
Then, three friends gather round so they strike a tableau of easy feminine friendship. Their combined age of more than 260 years represents an entire lifetime of being together – no jostling, no stiff smiles. Choreographing a group photo shoot has never been this straightforward.
