SINGAPORE – Singaporean theatre practitioner Alvin Chiam, 53, never believed in midlife crises. That is, until working on his first solo show gave him one.
In Last Luncheon, the long-time theatremaker, who triple-hats as writer, director and actor, is finding it lonely – and slightly existential – without his collaborators. “It’s clear that I’m an extrovert. And, in creating my work, I need other people – I can’t figure it out on my own.”
