SINGAPORE - Self-taught woodworker Joshua Ram, 29, is enthralled by a type of antique chair that arrived in North America in the 18th century.
Known as the Windsor chair, it has a saddle-shaped seat and slim spindles pushed into holes at various angles. It has captured his imagination since he set eyes on one in a museum in Boston in 2019.
