Who: Mr Ho Yong Min, 40, is the innovative storyteller and heritage enthusiast behind the Instagram and TikTok accounts of The Urbanist Singapore. He frequently posts videos about hidden stories of Singapore’s architecture, and is part of a new wave of educational content creators who have successfully piggybacked on social media to reach a mass audience.

His expertise is such that he has been commissioned for heritage walks for large-scale events such as Singapore Design Week from Sept 26 to Oct 6 and Singapore HeritageFest. He has also collaborated with institutions like the National Library Board, Capitol Singapore, Chijmes and the Asian Civilisations Museum.
