BookTalk: Shopee Singapore director Chua Kel Jin says reading makes his day feel complete

Who: Mr Chua Kel Jin joined Shopee Singapore in 2018 as a director, working to grow its business. He launched the shopping platform’s Guaranteed Next Day Delivery service in August 2023, and was involved in the expansion of both the Shopee Change-of-Mind (COM) policy and Shopee collection points, which include more than 2,000 locations across shops, lockers and residences.

“I am currently reading George Yeo: Musings – Series Three (2023) by George Yeo and Woon Tai Ho. My favourite part is a chapter expanding on his relationship with former prime minister Lee Kuan Yew. It provides a fascinating insight into their working relationship, offering a thoughtful and candid recollection of how they worked closely together, and how their relationship evolved over the years.
