Who: Giselle Lin, 28, is an independent film-maker with four short films under her belt. Her latest, Children’s Day, premiered at the Berlinale Shorts competition in Berlin in February.
Her earlier works, Yi Yi (Time Flows In Strange Ways On Sundays) and I Look Into The Mirror And Repeat To Myself, were screened at the Locarno Film Festival.
She is developing her debut feature, Midnight Blue Spring, which was selected for the 2021 Singapore International Film Festival’s Southeast Asian Film Lab and won the grand prize of the inaugural 2022 Locarno Residency.
