Expressions Through Art exhibitions

The third edition of Expressions Through Art continues to raise awareness of the talents and abilities of students from special education (Sped) schools in Singapore. Organised by Singtel, it is supported by the Singtel Touching Lives Fund, a flagship philanthropic programme that supports six beneficiary Sped schools.

Two physical art exhibitions are included in the initiative, featuring 37 artworks by students across the 25 Sped schools. A total of 44 students aged between seven and 18 used watercolour paints, coloured pencils and markers to bring their works to life. Some of the artworks include depictions of animals and landscapes.

The first exhibition at the North Colonnade in Gardens by the Bay runs until Nov 22. The second show will be at the City Hall Chamber of National Gallery Singapore from Dec 9 to 22.

Six trains on the North-South, East-West and Circle SMRT lines will also feature digitised versions of the artworks as stickers on train windows from Dec 9 to 31.

Where: North Colonnade, Gardens by the Bay, 18 Marina Gardens
