SINGAPORE – National Gallery Singapore (NGS) is giving pioneer female sculptor Kim Lim a worthy homecoming. Opening on Sept 27, Kim Lim: The Space Between. A Retrospective, is the largest survey of the overlooked emigre to date.
It is a belated return because the Singapore-born Lim was already well-exhibited in the United Kingdom in her lifetime from 1936 to 1997. More than 80 of her works are in British public collections all over the country.
