SINGAPORE – Mongolian director Hero Baatar went to the West End with a colossal cast of more than 70 actors, musicians and acrobats. His most epic collaborator for the cultural spectacle, however, is not one man but an entire civilisation.
“The art director is a 2,000-year-old man,” quips the creator of The Mongol Khan, which makes its Asian premiere at the Sands Theatre from Oct 17 to Nov 3.
