Of Jade And Dragons is the debut young-adult novel by Singaporean author Amber Chen.

SINGAPORE – A love of Chinese television dramas as well as a propensity to imagine the lives of historical figures led Singaporean author Amber Chen to write her debut young-adult fantasy, Of Jade And Dragons.
“I originally started writing because of TV, and a lot of dramas and stories I like are Chinese period dramas, whether they are wuxia (martial arts), xianxia (fantasy or mythology) or historical palace intrigue. That’s why many of the stories I write naturally fall into that bucket. It comes from this area of content that I’ve grown up with,” she says.
