NEW YORK – To many teens, nothing sounds worse than hanging out with their parents. But what if family bonds during adolescence meant a better social life down the line?
A study published recently in the journal JAMA Pediatrics found that a close, nurturing relationship with parents during middle and high school was associated with a variety of positive social metrics up to two decades later.
