The haze looks set to become an annual affair in Singapore.
I appeal to the Ministry of Education to start installing air purifiers in all classrooms. They have become a need.
It is not enough to just ask children to stay indoors. Not all classrooms are air-conditioned, and shutting all the windows is not a solution.
