Allow small pets on board public transport

The rules have been eased for commuters travelling on public transport - they can take their foldable strollers, bikes and personal mobility devices on board buses and trains all day.

Perhaps the authorities could ease the rules and allow small pets too.

To prevent abuse, the animals carried must be small enough to fit into a carrier or small cage. Those who do not comply will be denied entry into the train stations or buses.

I'm sure many seniors will support this proposal as it provides them another option for their commute.

This also ties in with the government's vision of a car-lite city.
