SINGAPORE - A truly historic month in US politics has been accompanied by a stunning rotation across financial markets in recent weeks.
The volatile reset has left the Nasdaq 100 in a technical correction (down more than 10 per cent from its peak after a 19 per cent rally in the first half of 2024), the Tokyo Stock Price Index down 13 per cent from all-time highs set just two weeks ago, and other tech-heavy Asian markets like Taiwan and South Korea among the worst regional performers in July.
