SINGAPORE - Standard Chartered is pulling out all the stops to widen its competitive edge, including hiring more bankers at a time when rivals are cutting back, the bank’s Asia chief Benjamin Hung said.
Speaking to The Straits Times during a recent visit to Singapore, Mr Hung said the bank was very bullish on China and Asia, where it is present in 21 markets and all 10 Asean economies.
