SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Friday (Oct 6), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,268.19 in early trade, up 0.19 per cent, or 6.35 points.
About 48.2 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 78 to 34.
