SINGAPORE – Fashion and lifestyle brands, banks and even airports are among the corporate players jumping on board the metaverse despite interest in these virtual reality platforms appearing to dwindle overseas.

Home-grown companies like CapitaLand, OCBC Bank, Charles & Keith and Changi Airport Group (CAG) have been some of the household names spotted hosting events and launching virtual locations on popular platforms such as Decentraland and Roblox.
