November new private home sales up 39% on-month and 79% on-year

SINGAPORE - Developers sold 759 private non-landed homes in November, up 39 per cent from 546 sold in October.

Last month's sales were about 79 per cent higher than the 423 units moved in November 2014.

A total of 734 units were launched last month.

The latest data released by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) on Tuesday (Dec 15) showed MCC Land's The Poiz Residences was the top selle r with 277 units sold.

The Poiz Residences, located next to Potong Pasir MRT station and launched last month, saw almost 80 per cent of its 350 units released in the first phase, snapped up mostly by Singaporeans.

The units, sold at a median price of S$1,440 per square foot, were evenly distributed among all unit types - from one to four bedders.

Across regions, 22 homes in the central region were sold, compared with 25 in October. In the city fringes, 504 homes were sold, up from 280, and 233 units were sold in the suburb, down from 241.

Including executive condominiums, 945 units were sold in the month, up from 822 in October.
