SINGAPORE – The entrepreneurial spirit took hold of tech executive David Li early in life and led him to start his first business when he was just 22 years old – and with only US$3,000 in his pocket.
That ambitious foray involved setting up an online food-ordering platform like Grabfood in his small home town in China’s Henan province, but it was far from smooth sailing despite a promising start.
