Markets continue climbing, but with wary eye on economic and geopolitical developments

The Federal Reserve's easing stance is supporting market sentiment. Expectations are for a 25 basis points cut on November 7, when the central bank meets again for its rate setting meeting.

The current market expectation for a 25-basis-point Fed interest rate cut at the Nov 7 rate-setting Federal Open Markets Commitee meeting is running at 90 per cent.
