Market outlook: 2024 looks good, but watch out for red flags

SINGAPORE – If one were to go back a year and look at various 2023 market forecasts, there is a pretty high chance that half of the projections were off the mark. The other half probably did pan out, but not exactly to the extent expected.

Projections of China’s economic recovery, expectations of a US recession and fears of a corporate earnings slump proved off the mark.
