SINGAPORE - I walked past a booth in a shopping mall atrium recently where a sales promoter was offering a free item of Rimowa luggage for customers who sign up for a new credit card.
I was tempted. The sleek, shining suitcases were beautiful to behold and I needed a new one after my previous one's handles were worn out from my travels.
