SINGAPORE - Her first investment effort that began as soon as she drew her first salary turned out to be a bust, but fintech firm executive Ashley Thomas says the lessons learnt made it a worthwhile experience.
She had diligently allocated a fixed amount of her pay to equity mutual funds every month, even though she was not familiar with equity markets. She thus invested with external advice she sought without doing her own research.
