SINGAPORE – Wall Street stocks do the heavy lifting in finance executive Chetan Karkhanis’ portfolio, allowing him to benefit from rapidly growing sectors such as technology and healthcare.

Equities form the bulk of his liquid assets, which make up 60 per cent of his portfolio, and are held through active mutual funds and passive exchange-traded funds (ETFs), including those managed by his employer, Franklin Templeton.
