Q: My wife and I are in our late 40s and we are aiming to build up our passive income portfolio so that when we retire at 65, we can afford a lifestyle close to what we are enjoying now. What are some of the ways that we can go about it?
A: For anyone planning their retirement, CPF Life will have to be the foundation block of their planning as it will contribute the bulk of the income, but instruments like fixed deposits, Singapore Savings Bonds (SSBs) and annuities can supplement this.
