Company directors cannot place their own interests above those of their companies

If you become a company director, it is imperative that you never do anything that is against the interests of the firm.

To put it simply, it means you must never place your own interest above that of the company. More importantly, a director must not abuse his position to usurp business that rightfully should go to the company just so he can make a quick buck for himself.
