SINGAPORE - The year was 2015. It was graduation time, and landing a full-time job was the priority. Like many fresh graduates, I was excited by the prospects at first, but job hunting soon turned into a daunting process and a season of waiting.
I was armed with a communications degree, and there were several pathways to choose from, including writing, marketing and teaching.
