(NYTIMES) - High property prices have led many families in the United States to do something unusual - rent a home in the city but buy a cheaper one in the outskirts.
Take Ms Lillie Walsh Dudley and Mr Andy Dudley. The couple, who have a five-year-old son, had been renting a home in the New York City borough of Brooklyn since 2014.
