Hydrogen struggles to meet great green expectations

While the green hydrogen industry is growing, the momentum is not quite as fast as many hope.

SINGAPORE - In the vast deserts of Western Australia, investors aim to create a green fuel to hasten an end to the world’s dependence on polluting coal, oil and gas and speed up the fight against climate change.

Using abundant sun and wind, the idea is to deploy vast arrays of solar panels and wind turbines to create hydrogen-based fuels that can be exported to power the global economy.
